Absolutely LOVING the Chemical Brothers at the moment, especially their track Battle Scars that was remixed by Beyond the Wizard. It's such a brilliant track, almost entirely for the amazing beat it has, but the lyrics are super cool as well. Any songs with story-like lyrics to them push my buttons.

And a few other things push my buttons too, like KITTENS. Oh my Lord, these wild kittens are getting more gorgeous by the day. There are sadly only two kittens left from the litter that appeared in early August, the others have probably fallen prey to buzzards and large owls, or even cars speeding around the country roads.
Luckily the two that remain are the most charming little boys you've ever met. One is still a bit skittish (Baby) and that's unusual because he is the one that has known us the longest. Meanwhile his brother, a mostly white kitten, is very happy to sit in your lap to be fed or to be picked up and moved around. We've all been pitching in to buy kitten food and biscuits and toys, and now they follow us into the house to make play in the hallways and kitchen. They especially like the drum room too with it's big chairs to roll around on, and very loudly too, I might add.
Can't describe how amazing it feels to see them bonding to us at last, when you've had to literally sit for hours in the freezing cold, in the middle of the night labouriously coaxing them to you for food over so many weeks; seriously, they were so feral to begin with we almost gave up hope of domesticating them at all.

In other news, I'm still looking for a job! Jolly fun business, whot!
